How does this work?
My father saw my curiosity and bought me programming books. One of them was about Visual Basic 6. I copied the code into my computer, ran the programs, and learned by experimenting. Every small success made me want to learn more.
By the time I was fifteen, I was deeply interested in programming, hacking, viruses, malware, networking, and online communities like mIRC. I spent so much time learning and building things that there were days when I even skipped school to stay home and work on my computer.
I thought I had my future figured out.
Then, when I was sixteen, I lost my mother.
Everything changed.
It was one of the hardest periods of my life. During that time, I found comfort in building websites. I loved the idea that someone could create something from nothing and share it with the world.
I continued learning, experimenting, and teaching myself new skills. Looking back, I realise that technology was more than a hobby. It was something I could return to when life became difficult.
That passion followed me into college.
My Early Years in Business
In 2008, while in college, I started my first business with a friend. I registered my first two domains, fhonsekha.com and axillynx.com, believing I was beginning something that would grow into a successful business.
Things did not turn out as I had hoped.
The partnership ended, but I was not ready to give up. I tried again with an old friend I had met through mIRC. We worked hard to bring the business back to life, but that attempt failed too.
The business struggled, my studies suffered, and years passed without the progress I had imagined.
Later, I became involved in politics because I thought it might open new opportunities. That did not work out the way I expected either.
At the time, these experiences were difficult to accept. I had ambition and ideas, but I was learning that wanting something badly did not guarantee that I would succeed.
In 2010, I joined VADS. Working in a large company gave me a different perspective on the professional world. Yet, the desire to build something of my own never went away.
I eventually started Fhonsekha IT Solutions. Over the years, the business evolved through different names and stages, eventually becoming what is now Kriya Consultancy.
My journey in business has never been a straight line. There have been setbacks, changes, and plenty of lessons along the way. But I kept learning and finding ways to move forward.
A Different Relationship With Faith
In 2012, my car was stolen right in front of my eyes.
I cannot fully explain why that incident affected me so deeply, but it marked a turning point in my relationship with God.
I had always prayed at home, but faith had never been at the centre of my life. After that experience, something changed within me.
I began looking for answers beyond what I knew. I started reading, learning, questioning, and exploring subjects that technology and business could not explain.
From 2012 to 2016, my spiritual journey became an increasingly important part of my life. During this period, I also married my longtime girlfriend, and life continued to move forward in its own way.
I did not suddenly find all the answers. In many ways, I was only beginning to ask better questions.
That search eventually led me to Vedic astrology.
Discovering Vedic Astrology
In 2018, I met an astrologer for the first time. The reading fascinated me, and my curiosity took over once again.
I wanted to understand how astrology worked, how charts were interpreted, and how the principles could be applied to real-life situations.
A few months later, I met an astrologer who became my first guru. Under his guidance, I began studying Vedic astrology, practising, and working through numerous case studies.
During the Movement Control Order, I started offering consultations.
Every consultation gave me an opportunity to learn. I began to appreciate not only the astrological principles, but also the people behind the charts — their concerns, their circumstances, their hopes, and the decisions they were trying to make.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in how spiritual practices could help people reflect on their situations and see things from a different perspective.
This interest eventually developed into the work I do today through Sri Siddhi Consultancy.
Spiritual Coaching: My Work Today
Today, my main focus is spiritual coaching through Sri Siddhi Consultancy.
My journey into spirituality began with curiosity, faith, and a desire to understand life’s deeper questions. Over time, that personal search developed into a practice through which I could help others navigate their own challenges.
When people come to me, they often have questions about life, relationships, career, business, or decisions they are struggling to make. My first step is to listen and understand their situation.
I use Vedic astrology and Cowli Prasannam to seek divine guidance and answers relevant to the questions they bring. Based on the consultation, I share my understanding and suggest what I believe may be the most suitable way forward.
For me, spiritual coaching is about helping people find clarity when they feel uncertain, consider their circumstances from a different perspective, and make more conscious decisions.
I do not see myself as someone who has all the answers. I am still learning, practising, and deepening my understanding. My intention is to use what I have learned to help others navigate their lives with greater clarity and purpose.
Technology, Business, and Spirituality
Alongside my work in spiritual coaching, I continue my journey as an entrepreneur through Kriya Consultancy, helping businesses with their digital needs and growth.
People sometimes ask me how I can be involved in both technology and spirituality.
To me, they are not as different as they might seem.
My interest in technology began with a simple question: How does this work?
That same curiosity now extends to people, life, and the deeper questions we ask ourselves.
Technology allows me to help people build businesses and bring their ideas to life. Spiritual coaching allows me to help people explore their circumstances, reflect on their choices, and seek clarity when life feels uncertain.
Both are part of who I am. Neither requires me to abandon the other.
I do not believe I need to fit into a single box. My experiences have shaped different interests, and I want to continue learning from all of them.
Still Learning, Still Becoming
When I look back at the boy who wanted to become the world’s best programmer, I smile.
He had big dreams and believed he knew exactly where life would take him. He could never have imagined the experiences, failures, relationships, and discoveries that lay ahead.
My understanding of success has changed over the years.
I have experienced the excitement of starting businesses, the disappointment of seeing things fail, the pain of losing someone important, and the quiet changes that come with exploring faith and spirituality.
I would not claim that I understand everything now. I do not.
I am still learning. I still make mistakes. I still question my assumptions, explore new ideas, and try to understand myself and the world around me a little better.
One thing I have come to value is the opportunity to help others through what I have learned and experienced. Whether through business, technology, or spiritual coaching, I hope to contribute something meaningful to the people I meet.
I believe that life is an ongoing journey of discovery. We may not always understand why certain things happen, and we may never find answers to every question. But we can keep learning, growing, and becoming more conscious of the choices we make.
I no longer want to become the world’s best programmer. I simply want to become a better human being than I was yesterday.
I believe my experiences have brought me to where I am today, but my journey is far from over.
I am still curious. I am still searching. And I am still discovering what it means to live with greater understanding, humility, and purpose.
If anything I have learned along the way can help someone else find clarity, direction, or a different perspective on life, then I am grateful for the opportunity to share it.
